Title: New Alembic Player :-)
Post by: natasrm on October 28, 2005, 09:20:37 AM
Hi I just wanted to finally submit a photo of my 83 Spoiler. SN 83S2811. I Work at a local music store in my area that has had this used Alembic in for a while. I found while going thru the back room where the used odd instruments are kept. The only info I have on this bass is the serial number. If anyone has the info on this bass it would be very helpful. It sounds and plays wonderful, since I am not the gentlest player I don?t really mind the finish condition at all.

Welcome aboard, very cool bass. Love the warrior look about her. I haven't seen many painted Alembics. This baby is the first black one I've seen.

Visited your site, nice job. One photo it appears your using an Ampeg 810 set up and some Trace in another. Have a preference? Gary

Carfax Abbey!! Yipe!

I think I'll stay in after dark for a while, just in case. ;)
Your Spoiler was built around the same time as mine ( 2887 ). Mine's got the Exploiter bodystyle and is maple/mahogany natural finish. I like it just fine.
Excuse me, I need to go buy some garlic....
