Title: Whats up guys...soon to get my first Alembic

Well I have been around the block and owned many killer custom high end boutiques basses but allways wanted to own an Alembic.
I finally took the plunge...
I should have my new bass in 2 weeks...
Mark King Deluxe 5  
Balance K body
Coco bolo top and back
Tummy and arm contours
Omega body and headstock cuts
leds on side of board and at 12th and 24th frets
Sig Electronics
Comfort spacing
34 scale
 
I can not wait....

Excellent, congratulations.  Don't forget to post photos when you get it.  Just as soon as you can put it down long enough to take them.

Congrats jonno!  I'm also waiting on a Mark King Deluxe Coco Bolo Balance K Omega.  I look forward to seeing yours.
 
I haven't seen what you've described in the Factory to Customer section... did I miss it, or did you forego this option, or did you purchase one you found to your liking through a dealer?
 
Just curious.  Again, congrats, and please post pictures.  I think the Balance K is the coolest body shape ever!
 
Your first Alembic, huh?  You WON'T be disappointed... especially with the model you've chosen!!!

Hey bro,
It turned out that a dealer had the bass on order and the customer changed to a 4 string so I was able to grab it 2 weeks prior to completeion and at 06 pricing..There are a few options on this bass I wasnt even thinking about like the headtsock Omega detail....I am still waiting on picutres to confirm and approve..This has all been sight unseen..
