Well hello,
Many of you may remember me from the early days of this club, indeed from before those early days with the Alembic Yahoo Club
I have been away from bass playing for a while, but thanks to Gregg on here, I now have a beautiful Series I to help me get back into it!
Here is a picture of me and my newly arrived baby - only changes so far were to chuck in two new batteries and change the strings from flatwounds to 35-90 roundwounds - nice and twangy now ;)

Hi Paul,
Indeed I remember you from both locations. Glad to see you're back in the fold. Have the maximum allowance of fun without attracting official attention (the smile tells me you've already begun).

Beautiful bass, Paul! Welcome back!!

Hello Paul,
Congratulations on the Series I , such a beautiful Bass !
Which brand of 35-90 round wounds do you like ?
I also like light strings on my Series I .

Congratulations Paul!

Thanks all,
Wolf, I actually prefer 30-90, and tend to use Status Hotwires or Elites, but my local store only had Rotosound Swingbass in 35-90 ;)
I used to use Superwound Funkmasters back in the day, the ones that rested on the bridge saddles just on the centre core wire, but I believe that is one string lost in the murky past!

Thanks Paul .

Paul, you may be looking for the Rotosound PSD (http://www.rotosound.com/psd_99.php target=_blank) which is the current incarmation of the Superwound, except they don't seem to offer them as ultralights anymore
