Hello all you Alembic lovers. I had wanted a al from the early 70's after seeing pix in mags and meet Jack Casidy on tour with Hot Tuna at that time Jack was playing a Starfire 2 with 16 knobs on it it was a replacement for the first one he had Alembic wire up for him (it had been stolen). He told me about and al he was having made and I was so hot to get one. 16 years later I asked a friend who had the local music store if the had seen any 8strings around ans 2 or 3 weeks later he called and said come look . I almost fainted it was a al 8string like John Entwisle played. Well I thought I would never part with it and had even wanted it in my coffen when I died, But sad to say I was hurt in a car crash a few years back and now it is too heavy for me to lift or wear on my shoulder.So if you are interested check it out on the showcase distilate page and make me an offer.
