Title: Hello I've recently purchased a Alembic bass from Atomic Music.

I have no info other than the serial number. I was hoping to get the build data particularly the wood type and any other available info. 92 u7440.

It would be best to place your request in the Serial Number/History Requests section here:
 
 
 
Mica (Alembic Superwoman)does go through that section of this forum, when time permits. Please appreciate that it may take a while to get info as Mica is extremely busy and Alembic undertake this exercise free of charge.
 
Pictures also help as there are details that can be determined visually by other members of the forum. Who knows you may bump into the previous owner.

Hey George, congratulations on your Alembic purchase! There is a section on here to request info on your bass with a serial number look up, it is here -  
 
You can also post a picture on this thread & I'm sure some of our members can tell you what woods are in your bass. I can tell you you have a Europa that was built in 1992 based on the serial number.

Hey George, I also recently bought a Series 1 from Atomic! I didn't know they had a Europa, too! They haven't had many Alembics for the last few years, so I guess we both lucked out!
