Title: Exploiter, 82D2400
Post by: jedisan on January 03, 2010, 04:44:01 PM
This one is an eBay find, and while it was in fantastic condition when it arrived, it was unplayable. With some TLC and setup, it is now one of the best playing Alembics I have ever picked up.

Bass TLC and a good setup returns multi-fold.  Great looking top.  Beautiful example of the Exploiter design.

Mario, Simon, yes indeed, I am a lucky man... mostly for having the most understanding wife any man could hope to be with.

Of all the basses I have, this bass is the one that rings true and loudest acoustically. When plucked, it has that piano string sound that you can just visually imagine vibrating like crazy.
