Here's a really bad picture of the bass that started my Alembic addiction.  Unfortunately it's the only picture I could find of it.  I bought this used and was thrilled from day 1.  The only problem I ever had with it was I'd ocassionally bang a knuckle on the neck p/u while slapping.
 
I eventually traded it and some cash for a Stanley Clarke Deluxe

hey! finally i've seen the twin of mine! it's a beauty isn't it....i may have to part with mine. mind if i ask how much you sold yours for and what funds (U.S.?) thanks
