Title: New '86 Spoiler
Post by: lembic76450 on March 18, 2004, 06:37:37 PM
This is my new spoiler that I bought off E-bay a couple of weeks ago. The sellers pics did not do justice to the flame koa.

Let's face it: pictures never do justice to koa because it's just hard to photograph properly with all the tricks it plays on the light that strikes it. But hey, that's a pretty good effort! That's a very goodlooking bass, and it's nice to get to know such a close relative of my 88 koa Spoiler (http://club.alembic.com/Images/411/7309.html?1072867394 (http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=8944)).

Just a warning: don't stare at it all day, pick it up and play it from time to time.

Great looking bass.  I agree about Koa. It is hard to get a good picture.  Yours looks great, though.  Thanks for the picture!

That is an awesome Flamed Koa top! The two dark opposing grainlines look so neat on that book matched top.
