Hi ~
I just received my new (new to me) 1983 Spoiler! It feels sooooo gooood, the neck feels....just right - and the sounds I can make are fantastic...and the Music I can make after I got over my initial bursts of joy and really played her is fantastic....(Music as how Victor describes her)...
...anyways...she goes well with my 1976 Series I...makes for a great compliment...I never thought that I would have two Alembic basses...wow...it's also cool that my 11 year-old son wants to play bass too...he'll get some cool basses someday....

The two brothers together...
The whole Family ('83 Spoiler, '76 SI, '73 Gibson EB-O, my son's '07 Epiphone EB-O)
And now....the extended Family (my Banner upright and my son's school rental upright)

What a beautiful family picture! Congrats on the Spoiler!

You mean he isn't all over your Alembics yet?
My son is also a bassist and when ever he comes over to visit I have to pry my Distillate out of his hands!

Tom, thanks for re-posting. We have a serious gremlin that does this once in a while. It has not been traced to any particular incident and is completely intermittent.

Nice collection Tom! The Spoiler is gorgeous! It amazes me the condition of all the older Alembics I have seen on this forum. They all look like new! Alembic owners are rare individuals who understand & appreciate quality & know how to take care of their instruments!
