Is this an Essence with Europa electronics and headstock or is it a Europa with an Essence body? What is the serial number?

my guess is an Essence w Europa electronics. I think Europas come with the purpleheart neck laminates as a standard feature, although you could order it without...

Ken, great bass, love the maple top.

Hi,
I'm at our club site a lot looking at the swap/sale section but missed being back here for awhile! Sorry to not respond earlier.  My bass is an Essence (w/ serial number as such), with the Rogue/Europa electronics, and an Elan (I believe that's what Mica said before) headstock. It has great sound and versatility. One thing I like about the wood is that it has a wider flame pattern than most others I've seen (although it doesn't seem to show up real well on the picture). The only thing it's missing is a Series II to go with it! (One of these days, perhaps...)
