Wolfgang, It appears to be black in color but pictures can be deceiving.  Asking differently... are the bridge, tailpiece and tuners all black (shiny black) in color? It certainly all looks original.

Yes,the tuners are black,but the bridge and tailpiece are not really black. Difficult to discribe !

Thanks for the close-up. They appear to have been plated, they still look good after 20+ years.  Enjoy your bass!

Yeah, I think that's original. When Mesa Boogie was importing Alembic basses, they frequently ordered with black plating, especially on Koa basses.
