Well finally got out the wifes new digital camera and took some pictures. They are not as good as my 35mm SLR and seem to have lost more resolution in the size reduction. I will try to post more later after getting more familier with the camera and editting software. Keith My 4 string fretless with EMW electronics:

Nice!!

Whoa! What kind of wood is that on the fretless?
-
Hi Keith,
Sweet basses, could you get a closeup on that fretless?
-
Michael and Douglas; it's Spalted Maple and you can see a close up here (http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=7765).

Thanks Dave. You beat me to the response. Mica's photos in the FTC thread are much better than mine. I still plan to post some other more detailed shots.
The fretless is Spalted Maple with an Ash body and a Purple Heart accent layer. The Spalted Maple actually has a flame pattern. It show's up in Mica's pictures and is more pronounced in person.

Olson,
Thank you for the compliment.
The link in Dave's update above is the factory to customer thread. This has some additional pictures.
There are also better pictures here (http://www.alembic.com/info/fc_orionnebula.html).
If you click on the pictures at the bottom of the page they will enlarge.

Olson,
Thank you again. I am very happy with the bass. I have always been fond of spalted woods and was really surprised with the pattern on this one.
