Title: Second new video from Irish funk band
Post by: karl on July 15, 2011, 08:56:18 AM
Hi guys and girls - here's a second video from Irish funk band Paul King & Stone Cold (aka The Paul King Band), featuring yours truly on Alembic, all recorded live, with no overdubs. Quite obviously inspired by an overdose of Treme on TV ... Hope you enjoy!

OK, you guys are killing me, Irish cats nailing NooAwlins second-line grooves.  I'm telling you, pick up some horns and this would be even more deadly.  Again, I'm stunned at how well people on the other side of the Atlantic work this, and why we're up to out ass in rap. .  .

PS  If you're taking requests, I'd love AWB's 'Schoolboy Crush' !

My Best to All of You,

+1 on Joey's entire post.
You cats took me back to the time when I used to go to New orleans every weekend when stationed at Keesler AFB,. Thanks for the free trip. Where did you get the bass strap: awesome!!!
