She's looking sweet Jeff. That coco bolo is phenomenal. Lets have a pic of the back and front of the peghead please. I'm keen to see how the laminates cope with the volute. I love the control layout too. that'll look special when you get the THGs.

too many compression, we see only big pixels. Your picture is 1'652px ? 1'059px for ~ 125 Ko.
Reduce the size and not so much compression.
800/600 for 250 Ko is good.

Jeff- if you send the pictures to me, I can resize them so they will display better. Not only will everyone be able to see more detail with less compression, but the smaller sized photos will make comments easier to read since they won't scroll off the edge.

Pierre is right that 800x600 will display fine with medium compression (7 in Photoshop) and usually be under the 150K limit.

I wasn't aware there were already basses made with the tribute body shape. I love it! What scale is it?  Long scale?

Looking forward to the resized images.

Hartmut,

If I remember correctly, it's a medium scale.  Also- there was one built for Flax before this, it's for sale at bass Central

Again, if my memory serves me correctly the string spacing was wrong on the original, so this is the 'rebuild'

She is very hard to photograph and get anything close to the actual color of the cocobola and without reflections or light flare.  These are close.  Much more pretty in person. -Jon

Just noticed my reflection of taking the photo is in the full headstock shot.  Sorry.  It is really hard to photograph this bass.
