Hey,
I've had my little beauty for a while now but am finally posting it along with my rig.

That's a real beauty and what a sweet rig. What type of power are you using?I too use an Eden 410XLT cab and have a SF-2 superfilter running in the FX loop in my SWR SM-400.I eventually want to retire the SWR(12 years old but still sounds great) and replace it with a power amp and add an F-1X.Rock on.

Very nice; I'm beginning to warm to the shape and love the wood

Bones, you've been holding out on us. That is about the nicest looking Europa I've ever seen. The fact that it has Series I electronics is a nice little perk, too.
Top it of with a killer rig. What a guy.
Peace,
James

That's beautiful, Bones.

Can't quite make out the name, but is that a Fender Princeton Chorus?
I've got one, from my guitar days, and hooked it in a couple of times just to get a little touch of reverb - nice, though I wasn't quite as happy with the overall tone.
But overshadowed by everything else in the picture, especially the wood. Really nice bass.
(well, not too sure what i think of the rug, might need to see that in person).

Thanks all for the kind words. I've really enjoyed owning and and playing this bass. I took all of the things that I liked about my prior used Alembics and put it in this bass. I was really happy how it recorded on my band's soon to be released CD. The Series I electronics gave my amazing flexability.
The power amp I use is a Stewart World 1.2 and yes that is a Fender Princeton Chorus that I'm using for the bridge pickup. I mainly just use this set up at home as for most gigs that I play, I run the Alembic, Stewart, Eden set up in mono.
Best Wishes All,
Bones

God damn brother that is beautiful. I use an Eden 410 as well and swear by it.

I just lemon oiled the fretboard at put a new set of strings on this bass. Next week I'll be doing some recording with it. My plan is to optimize the use of the Series I electronics to the best of my abilities. Should be fun.
Thanks for the nice comments.

Hey Bones,
How bout' some close ups of that badass bass! I'd really like to hear it with your Fender and of course the Edens! I know it must sound really superb! By the way, I just posted a new thread about oiling up the fretboard as a friendly reminder. Break a leg during the recording process!! From Chalie Holmes

I've switched things up a little bit from how things are pictured above. Instead of the solid state Princeton Chorus, I'm using a tube Princeton Recording Amp. My plan for recording is to not use power amps but go direct from the F-1X for the neck pickup and from the XLR out on the Princeton for the bridge pickup.
I have my SF-2 running in the effects loops of the F-1X and the Princeton. I'm a little leery of engaging it for the recordings. I'm thinking of running the preamps pretty flat and concentrating on varying tones with the filters on the bass. What are your opinions in also incorporating the SF-2?
