My first step in the carpenter work, if I have again money, send I mean bass for general overhaul. There are surely more beautiful Alembic?s, but I never again give him.
And my Tattoo also!!(http://club.alembic.com/Images/411/4590.jpg)

Eugen - Does that mean that you put that top on that bass yourself?  Great job!  It looks like Bookmatch to center but isn't!  Nice Bass!!  What kind of wood is that?.........Michael

It?s burl walnut, in German we say Furnier is only o.6 mm and it?s very hard to stick, I sell it on EBAY!! I do my best!!
In my dreams this bass has a cocobolo top.

I sandet off only the lacquer, locked the holes and glued the new wood on.
My previos owner had build screws into the old holes, no notion wich that should.
( I pay 2300,-? for that bass ) my wife mean I am manic!!
Look at the old Picture, that I decided to convert itself the bass.(http://club.alembic.com/Images/411/4612.jpg)

I saw this bass for sale some years ago here in Germany. But as far as  I remember the Series electronics didn't work. Did you change the whole electronic from series to Signature?
