Here is my Series I 77-878. Can anyone tell me what the fretboard and the top wood is on this.

I would guess schedua for the top wood. I don't know about the fingerboard, maybe rosewood?

Is that flamed Koa for the top with a Rosewood fingerboard?
 
You can ask Mica to use the serial # to perform a search to find out.

Mike's guess of Acacia might be it.  The last pic of 77-696 in the thread he referenced looks similar and the years are the same.  I keep thinking Purpleheart, but my poor memory can't recall a Purpleheart fingerboard from that period.
