Attached is a picture of my 97 Series II V and the rest of my bass collection. The Alembic takes center position of course.(http://club.alembic.com/Images/411/45784.jpg)

The S2 looks really nice!
-
Beautiful S2! how old is your NS-2? I own an '88 and '89 myself and would never dream of parting with them.
-
I would love to see closer pics of the 97 also. And yes the NS is mighty sexy as well.
-
The collection is growing...... I need more Alembics.(http://club.alembic.com/Images/411/46897.jpg)
-
Beautiful addition!
How are you finding the signature electronics since you have plenty of experience with the Series stuff?
-
The bass came yesterday and I'm playing it this afternoon at church through my rig. Details to follow, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Thanks for your comments.
-
Played the new SC at mass yesterday and it felt and sounded great. Really easy to play. 4 1/2 lbs. lighter than my Series II too.
-
alembics are like crack ......There's No Cure!(http://club.alembic.com/Images/411/46911.jpg)

My Alembic collection has grown. From the left is my Series II V, Stanley Clarke Deluxe V, Mark King, Stanley Clarke Deluxe, Mark King V. These are the original master built instruments. Those words are often used by other companies as sales buzz words. Alembic owners are getting the real deal. I will have more soon.

Here is Don's picture that disappeared from his post #37 above.

Five months later and I have converted. Alembics rock my world in so many ways. I still have the Sadowsky, Spector, Yamaha and Knilling acoustic from the first picture. The others are history.
-
I think my O-ring just ruptured looking at your collection.
-
Very nice collection!!
-
Inspired sir!
-
God will punish you one day for owning too much beauty!
Truly wonderful

You sure do love the classic Alembic look!
-
nice basses! how old was that p-bass?
-
It is a NAMM show Fender Custom Shop 1958 reissue.
-
I have a Fender Custom Shop '59 Precision that I really like. About 1/10 the price but sounds and plays like the original.
-
You must be in heaven!
I want a 5 string series really bad! To have 3 five strings along with 2 4 strings is simply extraordinay!! Kudos to you!!!!
-
Best of luck in your quest for a Series five string. They are out there. My Series II five string is the gem of my collection.
-
Fantastic collection you have there, very classic. Interesting that you have an SC 5 string. How is it strung and what is the balance like?

Wow, I don't think I'll ever be able to afford that many; thanks for providing a loving, welcoming home to these beautiful instruments!

The SC five is neck heavy. If you're left hand is not on the neck it dives. It's strung B to G.
