The adoption process is complete. The other twin was accepted by me for adoption from poor Nigel earlier in the year. After that it was sent back to to mica for foster care until I was able to pick her up today at the workshop. You were right Nigel she is a beauty to behold. I had a bit of a play today but I'm a bit too self conscious about playing in front of others off stage so will wait till I get her home for a full report on the bass. Thanks Mica for showing me round, introducing me to your team and for being the middle woman on order for the purchase to go smoothly.
Hmm for some reason I can't upload the picture I took of Ron and myself with the bass from my iPad..
If there is a moderator about I may be able to email the photo to you if you are able to upload for me,,
Thanks again poor Nigel I look forward to seeing the photos of our bass once your enhancements are done.

If one of the administrators can add it to my opening thread that would be perfect.
Fc I tried emailing you but my iPad is choosing to be difficult sending attachments.
Thanks.

Some you tube links to some awesome grooves being played on my bass. I had to get some mojo embedded into it. Thanks guys.

These videos are great Jazzyvee! When I was at the gathering last year I was able to watch all three of these guys play; great players and cool folks! Thanks for sharing these!
-
Oh, wow! I didn't realize you were recording. Needless to say, Victor and Nate were hard acts to follow even if we WERE just fooling around! Such lyrical players.
I was thankful for the opportunity to bring my drum machine and demonstrate some of my oddmeter grooves. BTW, depending on what thematic variation I morph into when playing with this particular beat, I'm either feeling it in 5 or 10 (double-time).
Jazzyvee's Europa is a gorgeous thoroughbred and a joy to play!
Thanks for the kind words, Dave. Missed you, yesterday.

Yes ,it is confirmed.I am still an amatuer, and have lots to learn.Great vids, great bass.Looks like I missed a good time.

It was great to hear the capabilities of all the alembics I heard yesterday in the hands of players who really understand them and can dial in specific tones without trouble. I'm glad I got to try out a short scale series bass. Its now a must have but something will have to go to make space for the right one unless of course I get enough gigs to fund at least a good proportion of it.

Jazzyvee, it was a treat for you to come out and visit us. Ditto, Kimberly and Nick. Our community really is global. To all our other out-of-state and international friends, come on over next time around!

A year has passed since then and it's gone so quick..!!

I have to admit that Ron's bat-belt amuses me. Nerd core! Could see him pulling out parts to make a ds-5, complete with soldering iron. Or maybe a sparcstation m-bus card or something.

Well, you know you're an electronics bad-ass when one Leatherman is not enough...!
