Title: Effects loop before volume and after jumpers ?

does this mean the buffer & loop are before and after the volume?

I thought the idea of having the send/return before the volume, is that you're sending the same level of signal to the fx, regardless of how loud you want the sound to come out. And that generally speaking this is a good thing, as fx can be finicky when not driven hard enough (unless that's an effect that you're going after, of course).
