Came across this video of Mark Manley of The Thunder Group playing what I think is a custom bass with Alembic Series II electronics in it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMlPq3a3PDI (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMlPq3a3PDI)
I know he plays other Alembics, he's got a short scale Series I on The Thunder Group's blog page. http://thethundergroup.wordpress.com/ (http://thethundergroup.wordpress.com/) Check it out.

In honor of The Internet for Peace Final Event yesterday I posted the song, PEACE PILL on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7AUo__r6LA (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7AUo__r6LA)
On it you can hear a 1975 Alembic Series I long-scale with zebra top during the body of the tune, and in the intro, a 1976 Alembic Series I short-scale with boluka top.
You can hear a version with better audio here:
http://music.napster.com/album/songs.htm?albumid=13788276
It should be free to listen.

Great Stuff!!

Thank you, Chris.

I thought some might get a kick out of this track. It features a 1975 LSB. It also features Jason Southard and Ryan Baker, currently with Christian Kane's band.

I'm in the process of putting together another live band and was going through material for the new set, and low-and-behold what did I discover? That the material I am choosing seems to favor the tracks recorded with Alembic and Rick Turner basses.... Go figure.
