  With templates for scale and a suggested positioning:

  The position is for reference - you are free to direct a different one if you select this wood.   Successive slices from the same board. Will make a great top and back. Freshly sanded surface, will be a little darker when finished. Suitable for Small Standard body shape only.

080904-04 will be gracing the top of a Signature Standard bass.
