Crazy chunk of Ebony. We've had this for over a decade, and just sliced the cap off to see what was inside. This will make a really nice top and back and matching peghead veneers. There should be enough for 3-4 sets here.

Post by: sonicus on September 03, 2015, 12:00:30 PM: David ,Yes the weight ! Perhaps a scaled down 3/4 Size Standard Point with rib/tummy contour on the back . 32 Medium scale with ebony stringers ! Series II, Nickel Hardware , Green LED's with RED LED's at the 12th ( I am dreaming out loud now) OR a Series II Distillate with a point ! Old knobs and layout with pickup selector on the lower bout. I like that . I like that alot .

Adding a back laminate means refinishing plus the cost of the laminate and labor. Not cheap. Please don't do this to Monty.
