Its been 6 months and 8 days since I orderd Brownie. I spend every afternoon sitting on the porch waiting for the stork but he never comes, and I cry myself to sleep every night.

Do you want me to post finished pics for you on Monday evening, or do you want the rest to be a surprise?

And most likely, at least several years to come! Looks like a real beauty, very tasteful. I might slightly prefer the back (or should I say the body?), but it's a tough call.

Congratulations.

What combinations of wood were used for the neck of this bass?  It looks awesome.

It's Walnut with a touch of Maple.

Wow, so it's all Walnut, with just Maple accents???  I thought some of it might be Pau Ferro, like my custom Excel has.  Very sexy, I find myself wanting one just like this now....

That's the most beautiful Orion I've seen. One overlooked feature of set neck basses is that a book matched to center top is standard.
Europa electronics with LEDs? Ouch. Great combination, Joe.
