If I were ordering a new Alembic today I would like for it to be something like this:
* 5 string unlined fretless
* large standard body with Omega Heart carving
* cocobolo/maple/mahogany/maple/cocobolo sandwich
* Series I or II electronics
* mono/stereo toggle switch
* recessed logo
* side LEDs and sidelines
* ebony stringers
* continuous wood backplates
* mop praying hands inlay @ the 12th fret position
The one option I would LOVE to see on an Alembic that I haven't seen....a swingout battery compartment (matching wood, of course). Removing the battery cover screws is the only part of the Alembic experience I could do without.
