Title: The Coolest Bass in The World
Post by: Shon William Gordon (The First) (shonlembic) on October 30, 2002, 05:07:30 PM
This bass that I'm about to describe will be the coolest Alembic (to my opinion).  I probably would go JPJ style with a series one (or two) triple omega body shape, ebony fingerboard, quilted maple sandwitched between two slabs of ebony (or another really dark wood), then finally coated with a bright green finish.  I'd then have green LEDs put into the neck, and chrome hardware.

If you don't understand my plans, then I'll sketch out a drawing of it for all you glorious dreamers out there.

Is this the sandwich you are describing:

Quilted Maple
Ebony
Mahogany
Ebony
Quilted Maple

Or are you taling about a Quilted Maple core with Ebony front and back laminates? I love the look of Emerald Green finish with chrome hardware - it's stunning!
