Title: Upgrades

Can anyone give me a ballpark guess on how much time my '97 Rogue 5 would be down if I were to have side LEDs added? I am located in Northern California if that matters. I would love to have them, but of course I am concerned about have to go back to a Gibson RD Artist for too long! Thanks for any input! Naturally, if there is a Series II loaner program, then I'd have no problem with a 7-10 year turnaround!!

A loaner program!!  What a great idea!!
I'll be sending my Essence in for upgrades just as soon as my loaner Mark King arrives!

You can retrofit LEDs. With the existing fingerboard you can only get amber or green LEDs. For red and now (gasp) blue, you need to replace the fingerboard. It's expensive: we're talking between $995 - $1400 depending on the particulars. We need it here for about 5-6 weeks, again, depends on the bass.
