Mica:
I know you are busy and I have used up a lot of your time lately; yet, I think I have a good idea for a custom. I emailed you the other day with an initial thought , but after some consternation, I have a better idea.
I am having a Baritone Acoustic guitar built out of Macassar Ebony and Adirondack Spruce. I believe I would like to have an electric baritone, as well. Using your Spectrum body and book matched Macassar Ebony. Could we speak about other appointments?

Post your idea at: Dreaming... for now. Mica checks-in from time-to-time there.

Sorry, I don't know how to move it. Perhaps, a moderator will move it.
-
So Mica:
Fretboard: Ebony
Body: Book-matched Macassar Ebony front and back with wood inserts/access panels. How would the body laminations consisting of Ebony/ Alder/Myrtle/Alder/ Ebony work and look?
Neck: 7 piece-Myrtle/Ebony/Alder/Ebony/Alder/Ebony/Myrtle
Pups: (3) STR with individual switches instead of a 5 way switch
LEDs: Amber
Considering wood sample #3132 or #3128.
Awaiting feedback.

Scott, you don't have to move it, you can simply copy text and paste it in a new thread at Dreaming... for now. Better than get upset in your hurry, doesn't it?

Oh, and I need a 1.75 nut width.
-
Well, I was told that They would begin building the neck this week. I have placed the deposit.
So the wait begins for my Spectrum baritone in Macassar Ebony with a Myrtle core and using 1/8 Birch laminations in the Hippie sandwich. The neck will be a 7 piece using Mahogony, Ebony, Birch, and Walnut. It will have a 1.75 nut and will measure 2.25 at the 24th fret.

This sounds like a great guitar; congrats!! Looking forward to pictures; Macassar Ebony Spectrum!

Thanks Dave. I can hardly wait.
