Title: LED'S For My Series Distillate
Post by: charles_holmes on November 24, 2011, 06:20:28 PM
Hello Mica,
I'm interested in having LED's installed in my Distillate (Front and side). Approximately how long would I have to wait for the process to be complete?

It can take a good long time, since the fingerboard needs to be replaced, and there is some time in finish (but we don't know how long until the new board is in place).

Best to plan on a good 4-5 weeks. Also, think about where you want the new controls (like a dimmer for the front ones and a selector switch (side only/both/off)).

Fun! When I got my shorty, I thought I wouldn't really use the LEDs, but they had already been spec'd for the bass. It just seemed a little ostentatious. However, I love the side LEDs and everyone else loves the front ones.

I like the alembic with the led behind the alembic logo

I wonder how they managed that?
