Title: Maybe it would be better if I sleep more and dream less...

5 string Spoiler heart Omega 34 inch longscale, comfort taper (maybe extend horns a bit for better balance)
Orion 3+2 headstock, superb Walnut veneer.
Koa core, superb Walnut top (btc) and back (non btc) Ebony/maple/Ebony veneer/accent woods  
Continuous backplate/truss rods cover
Mahogany/Ebony/Purpleheart/Ebony/ Purpleheart/Ebony/Mahogany neck
Coco bolo fretboard, Abalone inlays
Black hardware
Inlaid logo with shell and inlaid script (never seen that before)
Series I/II electronics with CVQ and 3 way Q switch  
Position 1: CVQ
Position 2 and 3: 6/9 dB with CVQ inactive

Very interesting,  I am trying to visualize your concepts in my mind.  I also have conceptual plans for possible future Alembic Custom Creations . It's fun.

How about a Scorpion Spoiler with a Heart Omega to take care of the balance?

Thanx for the suggestion, but I'm thinking as much Classic Spoiler (though with the heart omega) as possible for this dreambass.
 
Maybe the headstock can be a bit thinner (as on my '83 Spoiler) and a recessed bird tailpiece would also be neat (as on Monty)
And heck... let's go for a 6 feet ebony stinger :-)

Speaking of stingers, one of the more impressive features to actually see in person in a room full of impressive instruments at the gathering last week was this one (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1659268481941&set=a.1659262041780.2078124.1244010328&type=1&l=af5dba0a97); an Ebony and Maple stinger.

Though maybe a bit dangerous combined with my stage performance, I go with the tiny stinger like this (http://www3.alembic.com/img/inst/13853_bodyfrontL.jpg target=_blank)  :-)

Picturing the inlaid script, I'm wondering if you could also add the rays and have them intermingle with the script somehow.
