I picked up this Alembic Persuader from eBay couple of months ago. However, the second number is hard to figure out whether it's 8 or 3. So it could be 88P5017 or 83P5017, even though t`The seller stated that it's 88 Persuader. Could you please give me more information about my Alembic?

5017 is in the 1988 range, not 1983 - I have 88S4828.

top: Quilted Maple
accent: none
body: Mahogany
neck: 3-piece Maple, 32 medium scale
fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid oval inalys
pickups: PJZ
controls: volume, volume, filter, mono output
orignally made for: Music Mart, GA
birthday: August 11, 1988
 
There is one previous registered owner in Michigan who purchased the bass in 1989.
