I purchased this bass from guitar center(egads!) back in November '05.  I would love to know the details and if paperwork is available, etc.  Thank you so much, and as you can see, I am green to this site and protocol, thank you.

Here's the details I found about your new-to-you bass:
 
top: Vermilion
accent: Maple veneer
body: Mahogany
neck: Maple, 34 long scale
fingerboard: Ebony
pickups: MXY
controls: volume, pan, bass, treble
originally made for: Guitar Center, Carle Place, NY.  
birthday: June 10, 1998
