Hello,  I am about to purchase my first Alembic and would really apreciate the history or any information you have on this bass.  I am having it shipped from an east coast Guitar Center to the Seattle Guitar Center where it will be checked out and sent to me.  Thanks for your help.  I really look forward to being an Alembic owner and hope to get a factory tour sometime soon.  Cheers!

Here is the information I found out in the file for your bass:
 
top: Bocate, bookmatched to center
accent: Maple veneer
body: Mahogany
neck: Maple with Walnut pinstripes, 34 long scale
fingerboard: Ebony
pickups: MXY
controls: volume, pan, filter
originally made for: Drinking Gourd Music, OH
birthday: October 25, 1996
 
First owner was in Indiana. Make sure you  register (http://www.alembic.com/cgi-bin/register.pl) your bass once you get it.

Thank you for the information.  I should get the bass by the end of the week and I will register and post some pictures after I receive it.
