I just purchased this long scale, standard point from club member Treje a few weeks ago and would like to find out about it. In particular, is the top koa or tinted flame maple?

Here's the details from the file:
 
top & back: Myrtle
core: Mahogany
neck: Maple and Purpleheart, 34 long scale
fingerboard: Ebony with mother of pearl inlays
peghead veneers: Zebrawood
originally sold to: Rothschild
birthday: June 8, 1978
 
Haven't heard from this bass since it was born.

Thanks Mica. Myrtle top, huh? That's wild, my guess was way off. I'll send you a recording when we get some done...it's aged a lot better than I have, and sounds UNBELIEVABLE!
