Hi, just wondering about this Alembic I just bought.  Absolutely stunning work.  Can't wait to here from you what all the accurate specs are.  Thank you for your time.

Here is what I found out about your bass:
 
96S9876 SMB4 Spoiler 4-string bass
 
top: Bocate
accent: Maple
body: Mahogany
neck: Maple, 32 medium scale
fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid oval inlays, custom size 1.5 x 2.438, side LEDs
pickups: AXY
controls: volume, filter with Q switch, 4-position pickup selector switch
originally made for: Guitar Center, Chicago
birthday: April 25, 1996
 
The only other note is that it was for sale at Guitar Center Chicago as a used bass in January of 2003.  
 
There are no notes about the original customer, but it seems clear that it was a custom order.
