What information do you have about this bass?  I bought it used on ebay in the summer of '04.

Here is what I found out about your bass:
 
97SJ11222 SJSB4 Signature Standard bass
 
top: Flame Walnut
accent: Maple laminate
body: Mahogany
neck: Maple, 30.75 short scale
fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid oval inlays
pickups: AXY
controls: vol, pan, filter x2, Q-switch x2
output: mono, face mounted
Originally made for: Guitar Center, San Diego, CA
birthday: December 17, 1997
 
The original registered owner was from California. In 1998 the electronics were serviced in San Diego with a rewired jack.
