Been thinking I should know abit more about my baby. I have had her for several years now. I do not get to play her as often as I would like, but I am always nervous someone will hurt her!
Thanks for your help.

Hi Albert,
Here is what I found out about your bass:
82D2384 DMB4 Distillate 4-string bass
top: Rosewood with stripe*
body: Mahogany
neck: Maple and Purpleheart, 32 medium scale
fingerboard: Ebony with mother of pearl inlays
originally made for: Guitar Center, Santa Ana, CA
birthday: December 14, 1982
*with stripe? I've never seen that note, so I'm not sure what it means. If I were guessing, it seems to indicate there is an accent laminate. You can let me know about that.
You are the only registered owner for this bass.

Thanks Mica, I was completely wrong about the top. I appreciate the information.
The stripe is indeed an accent laminate. Looks to be maple. I am planning on taking some photos of the bass so I will load them if you are interested.
