I saw this Epic 4 string at a local music store that I 'm thinking about buying..  It was in very good condition and sounded great. Any information would be  very helpful. Thanks

Here's what I found in the file for 97W11246:
 
top: Flame Maple
accent: Purpleheart pinstripe
body: Mahogany
neck: Maple with Walnut pinstripes, 34 long scale
fingerboard: Ebony, no inlays
finish: High gloss polyester*
pickups: MXY
controls: volume, pan, bass, treble
birthday: January 19, 1997
originally made for: Select Guitars, CT
 
*The high gloss finish was a special order for this store. Please make sure you  register (http://www.alembic.com/cgi-bin/register.pl) the bass if you wind up adding it to your collection.
