Hi Guys, Can you please give me the details of Serial 91H6690 when you have a chance... I just purchased this Europa and its currently up for trade on the forum, I was hoping to post the details in my description.
Thanks

This will be for Daniel's benefit now, I think. Here's the detiails for this bass:
Elan HLB6 91H6690
top: Walnut
accent: Vermilion pinstripe
body: Maple
neck: Maple and Purpleheart, 34 long scale
fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid oval inlays, 2.482 x 3.560
pickups: AXY56
controls: volume, pan, filter, Q switch
backplate: plastic
birthday: August 16, 1991
originally made for: Guitar Center, Chicago
Previous two owners were in Indiana and Illinois.
In May of 1993, we did a bunch of work on this bass. We repaired a crack in the fingerboard between the 22nd and 23rd frets on the bass side of the fingerboard. We also repaired a finish chip on the headstock and a scratch on the neck.
The customer also had us change the original chrome tuners to gold and the plastic backplate to brass. The original items were returned. The truss rod cover was sanded slightly smaller, the original fit was too tight.
Another modification was the Elan plus electronics (additing bass and treble cut/flat boost swtiches).
