may you send me informations about my instrument?
I have bought it few mount ago in Italy as used
may you clarify me about the woods and other features?
I have registerd the bass in you D.B.
do you know the older owners?

Nice Elan Ferruccio. I love the top wood. Oh, and welcome to the club from Scotland. I think there's at least one other member in Italy.

it is a great instrument
a pity that is not good hands!!!!
I hope that Mica may clarify me all tech spec and the story of the instruments
hope again that is the first of a long series

Here's what I found in the instrument file for your Elan:
 
top: Walnut Make the wood special noted
accent: none
body: Maple
neck: Maple and Purpleheart
fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid oval inlays
pickups: AXY56
controls: volume, filter, Q-switch, pan, mono output
originally made for: New Kary, Milan as a custom order
birthday: July 7, 1989
 
New kary was our distributor in Italy when this bass was made. They ordered it for a special high-profile player named Enzo. The plate was engraved For Enzo originally.

now I try to know who is this high-profile player
effectly the plate has the script For Enzo
I have request to Valentino to prepare for me another plate with only the S/N and I have received it before Xmas
