Hi, I just purchased an 1989 Alembic Spoiler from a private collection. Details are a bit worn, so I am not sure I got the whole range right.
Top is definitvely Q-Maple, maybe that helps identifying this 4-string Spoiler.

if the details are slightly worn posting a picture of the bass can help clarify things (and appease the picture loving Alembic owners).

Ahh! removing the backplate reveals the serial number too. 89s5326 it is!

body: Mahogany
neck: Maple 32 scale
fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid ovals
finish: polyester gloss
originally made for: WILS Musikimport, The Netherlands
birthday: April 25, 1989  
 
There is one previous registered owner for this bass in the Netherlands.
