Here's the scoop on your bass:
 
top: Bocate
accent: Maple pinstripe
body: Mahogany
neck: 3-piece Maple, 34 long scale
fingerboard: Ebony
pickups: MXY
controls: volume, pan, bass, treble, mono output
birthday: March 28, 1997
Originally made for: Ace Music, FL
 
One previous registered owner. There is a record of a repair to the top. The note says there was a crack from the neck to the strap. Unless you can see something on the upper horn, I think this means the bookmatch seam popped and was repaired and refinished. The repair was done in 1999.

wow!!! i got this wonderful 'epic' 10 years TO THE DAY!!!! thank you Mica. everything comes around. 10 years to the day - this bass ends up at my house. and i took it on a gig that night!!
