I found a sweet playing Elan, but the dark top wood is a mystery to me.
It's colored like Cocobolo, but the grain is too straight & choppy.

Straight-grained coco bolo can be seen on the Coco Bolo Fantasy (http://www.alembic.com/info/FC_willg.html target=_blank) Featured Custom.

The coloring looks like Coco Bolo to me too. Another possibility might be Bubinga (http://www3.alembic.com/img/ws_bubingaL.jpg).
-
Could it be Vermilion?
I don't think it's Bubinga.
It doesn't have the signature splotchiness like my old Vector Persuader:

Looks like Vermillion/Padauk to me

Bubinga - no question.

Curiosity made me pull this file ahead of others that have been waiting much longer (sorry! I am working on requests almost every day now).
It is settled.

neck: 3-piece Maple
scale: long - 34
fingerboard: Ebony, classic taper

And now you know.

Yeah!
Thank you very much Mica.
