And as for this, do you think this is serious? The seller says, that it is no headstock crack. What do you think?

Looks just like a simple laquer crack to me Oliver!
Don't think there's any need to worry there, as the wood and joints all look great!
Good luck

Hi George,
many thanks for your opinion.
This is what I thought too.

I looks like then cracks do follow the scarf (scarph)joint a tad. This may mean some stress seperation at the joint. BUT thats the beauty of scarf joints. While they are very straong they are also readily reapairable.

Hi Olie,
thanks for your comment.
I noticed this also and was not sure about it but it really looks like it is running around the joint.
Thank you

No problem Oliver.
I don't think it's enough to scare me away from buying the bass if I were you. It would however influence how much I would pay.
It's a great looking bass and after all it is an Alembic!
Good Luck brother!

Had to edit the post. I'll let some of my typos' fly but not misspelling Olempic! ;)

The crack doesn't actually follow the scarf joint (anyone want to scarf a joint?), but rather the joint of two of the laminates covering said scarf; the scarf itself looks solid. I don't if that would be easier to repair or harder, but it might be less likely to take the head off. Mica?

What's shown is a simple enough repair that we typically charge $75 for - of course it isn't invisible, but it will be structurally sound and smooth feeling.
I don't have the file for this bass, but I looked on the old poster board we used to track serial numbers on, and I can tell you the birthday for this bass is March 28, 1977.
