Hey, Mica,
Saw this guitar for sale in the For Sale Section and was wondering if you could pull up some info on it before the buy. I'm pretty certain because of the 7 piece neck and the electronics layout that this is a Series II, but it would be great to confirm that, especially if you could find the Wood Card.
Thanks!
Frank

Here's what I found in the instrument file:
LSGII Series II guitar
top: Walnut
body: Mahogany
back: Walnut
neck: Maple and Purpleheart
scale: 25.5 long
fingerboard: Ebony
inlays: mother of pearl
machine heads: Schaller
originally made for: Music Strings 'N' Things, MI
birthday: August 17, 1978
The guitar was returned to us in September of 1979 when it was refretted, and a new nut installed. It was also sent here in 1981 when a new fingerboard was installed and the neck was refinished. Haven't heard from it since, so maybe we finally got it right.

Mica,
Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I'm not sure what happened to this guitar since 1981, but the nut is missing, as well as the electronics, bridge, tailpiece, stereo jack, and rear electronics cover.
It also needs refinished. The neck seems to be de-laminating slightly, near the headstock.
I spoke to you once before about it, a few months back. It definitely needs a lot of work, but I got it for a very good price, so I'm glad to have it.
