Hello,  
 
Just picked up this baby and she is beautiful.  Was originally told the top laminate was Macassar, but later told it is coco bolo.  Also, would like to know whether the finish was shot with nitrocellulose or polyester as the instrument needs a finish repair.  Thanks!

The original owner lived in Minnesota. There's no record of repair or modification of this bass.
 
The finish is polyester.
