Mica,
This is a beautiful bass that has a Q-Switch mod  not installed  by Alembic but using Alembic parts. There is an existing thread on the topic: http://club.alembic.com/Images/394/51966.html (http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=4990)
Would this disqualify from it being an authentic Alembic?

Hmm.. Well, since we made the bass, I can't imagine considering it anything other than an authentic Alembic. Just because somebody made a modification doesn't change that.  
 
I'm posting the build record since I pulled and researched it and it's in the History section for reference in the future.
