I recently picked up this Beauty in a Trade. I'd be interested to know anything about it! Last owner kept in in a closet for YEARS! I'm guessing it's a 94 by the SN, but other than the tarnished Brass, the bass is like new.

Hi Anthony,
Here's what I found in the instrument file:
serial: 94W8295
name: Epic
model: WLB5
top: Bird's-eye Maple
accent: Purpleheart pinstripe
body: Mahogany
shape: Epic
neck: 5-piece Maple
scale: 34 long scale, set neck construction
fingerboard: Ebony
inlays: none
side markers: bronze dots
peghead: Cone 3+2
pickups: MXY56
electronics: Epic volume, pan, bass, treble, mono output
finish: satin natural polyurethane (oil-look)
backplate: plastic
hardware: polished brass
originally made for: J Gravity Strings, MO
birthday: Not recorded (!) but soon after 4-14 1994 according to the rest of the build record, and based on the adjacent serial numbers, it's probably 4-21.
Really really nice top (I'm a sucker for Bird's-eye Maple)
