Recently purchased, was interested in its specs
-
How long does the process take? Not rushing just curious
-
Jeffery,
That is a fair question to ask, your patience is appreciated.
My request took about a month and a half.
Mica does the best she can at getting to these - The build lookup is done in her 'spare time'.
So if the shop is busy than she is busy . . .
-
Jeffrey:
You can wait for Mica, but on the other hand... chances are that if you post a sufficient number of pics of your bass here someone will, at one time or another, have come across it or have the ability to give you a pretty close approximation of the specs based on the pics. All within 24-hours. This is an incredibly experienced and helpful group.

+1 on Brian's suggestion and his interpretation of the great community here.
-
Having trouble getting pics the right size to post
-
Jeffery, If you would like to send pictures to me I will gladly size for you. Art
-
That would be appreciated
-
Can I still send the pics for a resizing? Still haven't had a response on this so maybe the pics could help.
-
Of course, email them and I'll gladly size and post.
-
Here's a picture that Jeffery sent today. Nice!

Looks like koa to me- with a bit of flame to it. My second guess would be Bubinga, but I'm pretty sure that's a Koa top.
-
My guess would be solid Koa body.
As mentioned in another topic:
I think Mica said there were less than 100 made with a solid Koa Boy. (the first +/- 100)
Mine has serial # 83S2674
Picture of the back?

Nice score! Healthy dose of mojo included.
At that angle, you would have seen the contrast with the mahogany, like on my Spoiler (http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=8944) so my guess would be solid koa. It might be flame koa, or what Mica calls watermark koa.
It's missing the pickup selector knob, I don't think you can turn it with your fingers. You can of course replace the selector with a pan pot - small investment, tremendous increase in the range of tones available. You can send just the preamp (and probably the pots and wiring harness) to the Mothership, and have them add a 3-way Q switch for even more tone choices.
Enjoy!

Rest of the pics coming today, got caught up at work. It is a solid koa body and you can turn it with your fingers, I haven't had any issues as far as that goes although the filter knob is a little off though.
-
And someone replaced the bridge pickup at some point as well. Whoever had it before I did definitely playe it a lot.

Here are 4 more pictures that Jeffery sent along. Enjoy!
