Just bought this amazing guitar today and will be happy to get some details about the history of my guitar.

originally made for: German Village Music, OH
birthday: August 7, 1981
 
The original owner was registered in Ohio.

How come birthday is August 7, 1981 while s.n starts with 84S. 84s means 1984 no?
